EASTERN AREA PLANNING MEETING |

would like to thank all the residents who were
able to attend the meeting in Beverley on 18th

RIVER HULL FLOOD
RISK MANAGEMENT PLAN |
|
You will be aware that
the Parish Council together with ERYC have been
fighting the proposals regarding this area for
many months now, both at a local level and
nationally. Had this proposal gone through it
would have had a significant impact upon the
residents, farmers and businesses alike within
the village. Whilst we have won this part of the
battle, the Management Plans as a whole are
still going ahead and Leven will be playing its
part in the consultation process over the coming
months. |

CAR
PARKING ON PUBLIC FOOTPATHS & GRASS
VERGES |
|
The
Parish Council has received complaints that
vehicles are being parked halfway on the road and
halfway on the public footpaths. There are many
disabled people in the village who use the
footpaths in their mobility scooters, these parked
vehicles leave insufficient room for the disabled
to use the footpaths. |
|
NO DRINKING ZONES |
|
Residents
Signs have been placed in the following locations:
One on South Street, one at the Sports Hall, one
near the school, one down the churchyard
footpath |

the problem of unsociable behaviour in the

the streets, public footpaths and public open
spaces has been reported to the Police. Also acts
of vandalism and underage drinking are being dealt
with by the Police Authority. The Parish Council
are collating a list of all offences, the number
to ring to contact the Parish Council collator is
01964 545898.
The
local Police require all incidents to be reported
by calling 07880 942979. Acts
of unsociable behaviour must be reported as soon
as possible.
