 East Street Bowling Club...

The Club was first formed in 1930 by the local residents, and it remains today a very active club.

Bowling is a relaxing game of skill, with gentle exercise thrown in.

The game is suitable for men and women of all ages, (though children must be accompanied by an adult), and with easy to follow rules, it can be played by an individual or as a team member.

The season runs from May to September, and members can bowl anytime suitable to themselves. The Club have a diary containing times of matches and rinks available.

Friendly matches are just that - friendly and sociable, and members gather on a Friday night for a roll-up.

Anyone interested in learning the game, or joining the club will be made very welcome - the only requirement is a pair of flat soled shoes. (the Club have some spare shoes)

Our pre-season meeting will be held on Wednesday 28th March at 7.30pm in the Recreation Hall, East Street, and everyone is welcome. Please come along - you won't regret it.
