 Hare & Hounds...

Sited at the village crossroads the Hare & Hounds is a large and impressive Inn dating back to the early 1700's. This former Coaching House once housed the local Smithy.

The current tenants took over the premises in April 2003 and have refurbished some of the premises, always with an eye on keeping the pub's original ambience and character, while making the interior more eye-catching.

One area of the bar boasts a display of bygone memorabilia outlining the village's past. inside, each area is tasteful, cosy and welcoming. The exposed beam-work and horse brasses are kept in pristine condition, there's an open fire, the seating is comfortable and the atmosphere is friendly.

It's the perfect place to enjoy a relaxing home cooked meal by the landlady, and be served a cask-marque awarded pint by the landlord and his staff.
