Hundreds of people across Leven &
Brandesburton - and beyond - work hard throughout the year
preparing to demonstrate their skills and commitment at the
Summer Show, entries in recent years have exceeded 700.
Don't forget that it's not just about
vegetables, plant and flowers; those of you with skills in
art, crafts, photography and cookery will find plenty of
opportunity to show off your skills. The committee, show
stewards and helpers are always ready to assist those for
whom it is the first time at showing and it's generally an
enjoyable day for all concerned. A word of warning, however,
competing in the village show can be addictive!
The Society welcomes new members who
would like to help in any way with organising the Show or
other events, or wish to help sponsor the sunning costs of
the Show.
