 Mill Lake Fishery...

To be found on Beverley Road to the south of the village, Mill Lake Fishery offers anglers a wide variety of catch in a completely tree enclosed environment, making it a truly tranquil place to enjoy the pursuit of angling.

Sited away from the main road in part of an old quarry, the quiet, peaceful lake also makes for an ideal breeding ground for the numerous species of duck to be found along its banks.

The site is surrounded by fields, has ample parking space and over 20 pegs.

Conservation is paramount, and anglers are expected to respect the wildlife, trees and water inhabitants at all times. Keep nets and carp sacks are banned, as are barbed hooks.

Under 16's must be kept under adult supervision.

There are currently two pegs with small caravans, used for anglers with carp syndicates who wish to night fish the lake.

Ring the proprietor on 01964 542 880 for current prices of carp syndicate licences, or to arrange a night session.
