Recent incidents include:

NIGHT TIME BURGLARS

Towards the end of October into the early part of November two homes within the village were broken into during the night. This village and others including Tickton have been targeted.

If you have a house alarm consider setting it during the night, and always ring 999 if you hear or see something suspicious during the night.

On occasions thieves are specifically looking for car keys - The current advice is TAKE YOUR CAR KEYS TO BED.

ANTI-SOCIAL BEHAVIOUR

This topic still dominates comment around the village. Those responsible are in the minority and are the subject of targeted enforcement.

Please do not be afraid to report incidents. Please name individuals if you can.

It is possible to remain anonymous, but your anonymity dictates how far we and the local authority can proceed.

I am pleased to report that some parents who have been visited regarding their child's behaviour have been very responsive to the advice given.
