Situated on North
Street on the outskirts of the village, the
Leven Sports Hall is the home of many of the villages sporting
activities, including snooker, pool, darts, bowls, dominoes,
football, cricket, tennis, badminton etc. all under the
auspices of the Leven Playing Field Association.
The Hall is the venue for the annual village
Auction, this year to be held on April 21st, & the
annual Craft Fayre, the next to be held on November 4th 2007.
Other regular events staged at the Hall
by the Playing Field Association include:
Afternoon Teas
served on the last Wednesday of the month at 2pm
Whist Drive
3rd Thursday of the month at 7.30pm
As well
as indoor sporting activities, the Main
Hall itself can be equipped with an impressive marquee for disco's,
birthday or wedding parties and concerts - in fact for any 'special
occasion'.
