 Tai Chi Chuan...

Tai Chi Chuan is a mixture of Buddhist and Taoist philosophy and physical movement to create a more relaxed and aware state of mind.

Classes are held at 11 North Street, on Thursday evenings from 7pm - 9pm - Cost is £4 per night.

Classes are also held on Monday afternoons at the Recreation Hall. these classes are predominantly aimed at the over 50's. The cost is £2 per session, and the sessions run from 2.45 - 3.25pm.

These classes have been welcomed enthusiastically by Leven residents. they currently have 15 'students' eagerly stretching and learning the gentle techniques designed for flexibility, stamina and strength. - Everyone is welcome so why not give Angela a call.

Both the Kung Fu and Tai Chi classes were originally started by Master Wayne Short.

Wayne studied martial arts, Tai Chi and Chi Kung. He was well known to the Chinese community of Melbourne Australia, and to Chinese Kung Fu masters throughout the world.

He also studied in Hong Kong for three years and spoke Cantonese.
